Kim loves the local church and our call to love our neighbors. She has worked at two multisite churches over the last 25 years, serving as a Children’s Director at The Chapel’s Libertyville Campus and the Pastor of Community Impact at The Compass Church’s Naperville Campus. She’s passionate about activating the body of Christ to engage the poor, vulnerable, and marginalized in our community with the heart of Jesus. She does this by developing leaders and building teams – communities of life transformation — that take the time to understand the needs in our community and prayerfully consider how to engage those needs. Prior to serving in the local church, Kim worked for a large healthcare corporation in the area of Marketing Communications. She and her husband, Dan, have invested nearly 20 years in supporting a nonprofit organization that does holistic development of orphaned children in Kenya. Kim loves how CAP America works through the local church to equip individuals to budget and save through the CAP Money Course, as well as how they equip the church, through the CAP Debt Center, to walk alongside our neighbors experiencing financial distress, offering hope.
