Cap An Evening Of Hope Details

Friday, November 13, 2020 at 7:30 - 8:30 PM (CT)

Book tickets and you'll receive email updates with your exclusive web link for the evening.

We are excited to invite you to this special, online celebration!

We are praying that the night will be the powerful encouragement you need right now and all from the comfort of your own home.

It will be an amazing opportunity to thank God, to refresh the soul with some spirit led worship (thank you Rend Collective!) and to be inspired by CAP’s work. Short inspirational messages from CAP’s Chair of the Board Kevin Palau, CAP’s Founder Dr John Kirkby CBE and the CAP team will encourage you that God is on the move!

Tickets for the event are free but there will be an opportunity to give.

As difficult as the pandemic has been, it is often the poorest in society who are hit harder, with thousands of families falling into financial strife. That’s why it’s crucial that CAP builds its capacity to help more people. There is much more we can do together!

It will be a quick but powerful evening - just 60 minutes and we pray you’ll be blessed. Book your tickets today to receive your exclusive link.

You can attend from your own home:

We are inviting supporters from all across the US to attend as you can attend remotely from your own home. Once you register, you will receive email updates as we get closer to the event, with specific instructions and your exclusive web link for the evening. You can join in and watch on your laptop, computer, tablet, cell phone or TV.

You can host a virtual or physical 'watch party':

You could host a small gathering and invite your friends to join you for the evening. CAP will provide you with a free 'hosts pack' which includes vouchers to purchase drinks and snacks for the evening. Email with your name and address to register your 'watch party' and request your free 'hosts pack'.

Introduce your friends to Christians Against Poverty:

This is a great opportunity to introduce your friends to CAP. To mail them an invitation simply email their name and address to or forward them the link for this webpage and they can book their own tickets.

Our special guests for the evening will be:

  • Rend Collective. Rend Collective is an eclectic collective of multi-instrumentalists from Ireland who through songs, music and stories want to lead people closer to Jesus. They are big supporters of Christians Against Poverty and will be leading an exclusive worship set for CAP America's 1st year celebration.
  • Kevin Palau. Kevin is Chair of the Board for CAP America and President & CEO of The Luis Palau Association. Following in his father Luis Palau’s footsteps, Kevin’s leadership and passion for evangelism has seen The Luis Palau Association partner with tens of thousands of local churches to produce festivals around the globe and inspire countless City Gospel Movements.
  • Dr John Kirkby CBE. John is the founder of Christians Against Poverty and a highly regarded Christian leader and dynamic speaker. John's powerful story and how he started Christians Against Poverty, has been shared with hundreds of thousands of people around the world. He has received many awards for his work and leadership of CAP including a ‘Commander of the British Empire, CBE’ - from Her Majesty The Queen and ‘Best Leader’ - from The Sunday Times.

Can't make the date of November 13?:

We will be live streaming the event on Friday, November 13 at 7:30-9:30 PM (CT). If you are unable to make this date but would still like to join in, then CAP can also provide a recording of the event for you to watch at a later date. Email your request to

Christians Against Poverty are passionate about working with local churches to release people from a life sentence of debt, poverty and its causes, into a life filled with hope and freedom. By partnering with the local church, CAP not only offer freedom from the chains of debt and poverty; but also share the good news that there is a God who loves and values each individual, and that there is a community to walk alongside and advocate for people every step of the way.

CAP's mission is to equip the church, to serve those in need, to see the lost saved, across this nation. Our vision is that anyone in every major town and city across America would have access to a church offering CAP’s life transforming work.
